Welcome to Year Two!

In Year 2, our class teachers are Mrs Currie (Tuesday- Friday), Miss Johnson (Mondays) and Miss Jones (Monday- Thursday). 

Please ensure your child wears a full school uniform every day.

Our school day starts at 8.45am.  When the children come into class they complete their handwriting task, before they are ready to register at 8.55am.  Every day, we have spellings & phonics, English and Maths.  

Things to remember:

• PE is on a Tuesday and Wednesday (children with pierced ears must have earrings removed or covered).
• Toast money is £1 per week, paid through Parent Pay or at the class door.
• Reading books can be changed when your child has read their book (an adult must sign their reading record); if not, books will be changed every Wednesday.  If you feel your child is struggling with their reading, please speak to a member of staff.
