Maths

In our scheme for maths 'Maths No Problem' we would have been covering the following topics for the rest of the year. Over the coming weeks I will endeavour to post some of the lessons and worksheets online but I will have to check copyright laws for this. For now, I would suggest looking up the following topics on my maths and Twinkl (with their free subscription) and carrying out the online lessons with your child.

  1. Decimals
  2. Percentages
  3. Geometry
  4. Position and movement
  5. Measurements
  6. Area and perimeter
  7. Volume
  8. Time
  9. Roman numerals

The Maths Factor

The maths factor is a website created by Carol Vorderman and following school closures due to Coronavirus, it has been made free for everyone to access.

Lessons, tasks, activities and games are matched to the National Curriculum and there is something for children aged 4-12.

Parents and children will need to fill in a short registration and then you can get started!

There are live lessons at 10am daily by Carol.

The parent zone allows parents to track their child's progress as well as parent friendly advice and video tips to on how you can help with your child's learning.

The following worksheets from Mathsphere are excellent revision tools. Even if you can't print them out you can try and answer them in your red book or on a piece of scrap or plain paper.
