Well the football wasn’t the only great sporting achievement going on yesterday, 3 members from our Year 6 were lucky enough to take part in an Olympic torch relay organised by West Lancs School Sports Partnership. They received the torch from Holland Moor then took it onto Bishop Martin. On handing over, they had to read out an Olympic pledge that they had written. The torch will eventually be taken to Tokyo with Olympic pole vaulter and local boy Harry Coppell. What a great activity to take part in. Well done to our children for representing us in such a positive way
