This is a fantastic book that explain the Corona Virus in a child friendly way with fantastic illustrations by Axel Scheffler of Gruffalo fame.

Coronavirus - A book for children

Active Learn/ Phonics Bug is what we use currently at school for guided and reading comprehension. Your childs workbooks were sent home last week (or were available for collection at the office). The children know this scheme of work well. They have to log on (they should all know their passwords) the school code is p97t. They then need to read the text that I have allocated to them and answer the pages in their workbook. Thera are about 4 weeks left in the spring workbook that I sent home. I will post pics below to show where we are up to and what the children need to click on.
