Animation is a great way to make things come alive. In the y6 bubble we have been learning about the history of animation and also making our own stop-motion animations. Below is a Power Point with some information about the history of animation, as well as some links to interesting videos.
There are lots of free apps that you can download to make your own stop-motion animation. Why not have a go?
We use Discovery Education/ Espresso Coding as our scheme for coding in school. Most of the children know the login details but they are USER: student19064 and PASSWORD: dragon.
This site https://hourofcode.com/uk/learn also has some fun coding activities.
Most of the children have been working through the levels on Light Bot too: https://lightbot.com/hour-of-code.html
Some children have also been trying to improve their typing skills. BBC Dance Mat Typing provides a fun way to work on this skill.
