Many Thanks
Mr D. Gibson
This week as part of our Come and See work we dramatised the story of the Good Samaritan. We hope you enjoy it.
Collective Worship
Leah planned and delivered her own collective worship. It was in response to the story of Stephen that we read as part of our current topic about Witnesses.
This week 5/6G recreated their now famous 'Come and See' courtroom to discuss the story from their new topic 'Witnesses'. They had great fun making a film about the story of Connor and his sister Kylie. They hope you enjoy it.

In English this term we have had great fun studying William Shakespeare. The end of our topic tied in perfectly with a live Shakespeare online broadcast from the BBC. We sent in some art work based on Macbeth and Cameron was lucky enough to have his featured on the show. Well done Cameron.

Henry Priestman and Les Glover visit.
Today, we were joined in school by Henry Priestman and Les Glover, noted local musicians (Henry was in the Christians who enjoyed many hits in the 1980s) and now published poets. First of all, they performed for the children, then they worked with them on writing some lyrics, then they rounded off the day by performing with the children. The whole event was an absolute pleasure to be part of. Well done to Dean who organised the whole thing.
Some of our children have spent time this week considering the qualities and responsibility required to carry out top jobs such as firefighters and police officers.
Getting to grips with the fantastic technology on offer at SFOA.
Year 5s made a short trailer for a pretend horror movie with the Guidance of Mr Gibson a.k.a. Spielberg!
