A very warm "Hello" and sincere "Welcome Back" to all year four children, parents and guardians. I hope that you are all doing well and gradually coming to terms with school life once again. Although things are different in lots of ways,we still expect our pupils to carry on their learning both at school and at home.
On that note, I am delighted to report that we will be utilising online learning platforms such as Class Dojo, My Maths and Education City this term.
Your child will be presented with an explanatory letter along with their individual passwords and login details for each service. Additionally, I would appreciate your support with Times Tables and Spellings which are attached below.
To that end, please make sure you register to gain access as and where directed. Moreover, please check this page on a regular basis for tasks that will be set for your child.
For example, if you click on any of the gold stars or indeed the "WWW" links within, you will gain access to designated resources and relevant materials appropriate for your child's year group.
If you have any questions about the work set then please leave a message and I will endeavour to respond as soon as possible.
May I once again thank you for your continued help, patience, support and understanding throughout these rather testing times. Remember to stay safe by following the current government guidelines and recommendations.
I have placed two large blocks of homework on the Education City website. One dedicated to spelling and the other for times tables. Please do not be alarmed by the amount on offer.
I am certainly not expecting them to be done in one week but over several. Just dip in when you can as part of a catch-up process.
Additionally, there are a number of activities on the My Maths platform too for the same reason.
If you have any issues the please free to contact me.
Have a lovely weekend.
Kind regards, Mr. Forsyth
