Attainment

Percentage of pupils meeting the expected standards in reading, writing and mathematics: 61% (nationally: 61%).

Percentage of children achieving at a higher level in reading, writing and maths: 3% (nationally: 9%).

 

Percentage of children achieving ES in Reading: 76% (nationally: 71%)

Percentage of children achieving HS in Reading: 21% (nationally: 25%)

 

Percentage of children achieving ES in Writing: 64% (Nationally: 76%)

Percentage of children achieving HS in Writing: 9% (nationally: 18%)

 

Percentage of children achieving ES in Mathematics: 88% (nationally: 75%)

Percentage of children achieving HS in Mathematics: 21% (nationally: 23%)

 

Percentage achieving ES in GPS: 88% (Lancashire average: 77%)

Percentage achieving Hs in GPS: 24% (Lancashire average: 28%)

 

This shows that we are above national averages in ES (expected standard) in reading, mathematics and GPS, with writing a priority for school improvement.
